Mercure  9 x 12 Framed Exhibition to be held between the 14th February to  27th March 2022. At the Mecure Inn, Main road Ballarat. All artworks will be for sale and at times there will be some of our artists on hand to talk to visitors, some of the artists will be doing some artwork so that visitors can see the process of producing a piece of art.


Ballarat Begonia Festival 2022. 12th,13th and 14th March Labour Day Weekend.

The Begonia Festival this year(2022) will be a little different from previous years due to Covid, so there will be no children’s activities,.

We will be setting up a marque in the gardens as per previous years.  Members can set up their own or shared display near our marquee. If you have your own payment facility that is great, but if not you can use the BSA facility and the 20% commission will be charged

39th Annual Easter Art Exhibition   15th, 16th, 17th and 18th April 2022 10am to 4pm daily.  At the Robert Clarke Center Botanical Gardens Lake Wendouree, just near the Begonia Building. This is Ballarat Society of Artists Annual Art Show, all the works are available for purchase. You will see some of the best artists either local or in Australia, don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy this experience. Also there will be cards and unframed works all made by our talented artisans. We will be observing the Covid 19 guidelines that are in place at the time of the Exhibition.

Apron Festival  Art Exhibition  –  Heritage Weekend. To be held in the Ballarat Mining Exchange in Lydiard Street Ballarat. Date T.B.A. Come and visit Ballarat and learn about its amazing history and also see the famous Apron festival where there are some of the most amazing aprons you will ever see. Take this chance to see the wonderful works by the artists of the Ballarat Society of Artists and maybe even take the opportunity to purchase a work of art, or perhaps some of our merchandise all made by our artists.

Corridor Art Space –  Ongoing Exhibition Trades Hall Camp Street Ballarat.  Each month up to four different artists display their work in the Corridor space at the Trades Hall, you can visit free to see these works and if any should take your fancy, you are able to purchase it and take it home with you.
