Having failed sewing and art at high school, Christine has since become a textile artist, sewing teacher, glass jewellery artisan and has dabbled in ceramics. In 2021 she became addicted to drawing and watercolour painting after attending classes at the Ballarat East Neighborhood Centre. Prior to 2021 Christine considered herself incapable of drawing a straight line. As a historian, Christine is particularly interested in architectural art. Christine’s artistic style is generally quirky, playful and slightly left of center, but she enjoys painting detailed and meaningful pieces.
