Gladys
grew up in the countryside near Daylesford and was always interested in drawing
and painting.
Now
that she has fulfilled family and business commitments she is free to pursue
her interest in art.
Gladys
enjoys painting the beautiful Australian landscape and bush. She uses mainly oils but also paints early
Australian miners’ cottages in watercolour, pen and wash.
As a
member of the Ballarat Society of Artists for over 20 years, she has
participated in a variety of classes and workshops with other experienced and
talented artists. Gladys finds this
inspiring and enjoyable.
Most
artists have their own unique style, developed over the years. That is to her what makes art so interesting,
diverse and exciting.
