Shirley enjoys the social aspect of painting and sharing with others their same passion for art. She is happy watching each new painting take on its own life. Her subjects can be anything that she likes. She enjoys taking photographs whilst on holidays, travelling or just out for the day.
Shirley is a self-taught artist and attends workshops through the Ballarat Society of Artists Inc. and Grampian Brushes and is member of the Sebastopol Social Art Group.
Her favourite mediums are watercolour, acrylic, oil and coloured pencils. She has exhibited in venues across Victoria and entered many art exhibitions and received awards for her art.
