Trudy loves to explore all artistic pursuits, especially visual arts. She mainly works with pastel as she feels that this has a great sensual connection. It enables Trudy to reach into her core and express what she thinks and feels about her art piece. Trudy teach adults on a weekly basis and love to see their learning transformations. Art is music for her soul.
Trudy is always exploring the possibilities of mixing mediums, creating challenging commissions for herself and has successfully completed many commissions for people. These include portraiture (people and animals), landscapes, abstracts and buildings. Her mediums are varied and even mixed sometimes.
Trudy continues to spread her wings and take further risks, jumping off higher cliffs and succeeding.
She retired from the Department of Education and Training in 2005. Her registration as a teacher is current. Trudy is a member of the Ballarat Society of Artists Inc.
