Amanda Western is in the process of establishing a professional art practice and has created a modest independent body of work, focusing on linocut printmaking and watercolour paintings. She recently completed a Cert 3 of Visual Art at Oxygen College.
In 2022, the Hepburn Shire Council featured one of Amanda’s print on both merchandise and social media associated with the Shire’s storm recovery works. She has also exhibited in Melbourne.
Amanda has established a beautiful studio in Mt. Helen, Ballarat and is utilising a handcrafted press to produce small and larger scale prints with her largest to-date being a reduction print measuring 76 x 57 cm.
